Saint Augustine’s University is competing in the Toyota Green Initiative Promise Pledge, which is a movement to help you find smart, simple ideas that can make an environmental impact in the community and in one’s life. Working with historically black colleges and universities, Toyota will present the institution with the most pledges a $10,000 UNCF scholarship. Also, one pledge from the winning school will receive and iPad or tablet valued at $750.

Currently, Saint Augustine’s University is #3 among all participating institutions and #1 among the CIAA schools.

The Promise Pledge states that an individual will take ownership over his or her responsibilities to the environment and future generations. The ‘Promise Pledge’ period will end on May 1 and the winners will be announced on May 2. Pledge your promise TODAY at http://www.toyotagreen.com.
